The house has an enclosed courtyard with a large pool and will give you complete privacy. You will be holidaying amongst friendly Cypriot families who have lived in the traditional stone houses that surround Tala Diamanti for generations. You will enjoy a real taste of authentic Cypriot village life.The house itself is a blend of old Cypriot charm and modern amenities, a mix of the old and the new. It has a very bohemian feel with stone walls and wooden floors; tiles, pottery, textiles and paintings collected from our travels both in Cyprus and around the world. It is a vibrant and colourful home and has many stories to tell.

During the day, you will be able to lounge around the pool, soaking up the sun, or sit in the ample shaded areas. Dining options include an inside large wooden table in the kitchen/lounge area and an outdoor dining area by the pool... the choice is yours.
There is also a huge balcony on the first floor of the villa, where you can sit under the shades and sip cocktails, watching the sun go down, with a panoramic view of the rolling hills surrounding Tala and the sparkling Mediterranean sea beneath.

Tala Diamanti is just a stone’s throw from the village centre. You can walk into the square in less than a minute and enjoy all of the hustle and bustle that village life has to offer.
There are numerous tavernas and restaurants and bars within walking distance of the villa. You can choose from tavernas with traditional Cypriot fayre, but there are also restaurants with alternative menus including International cuisine.If you want to venture further afield and decide to hire a car, there is convenient free parking in the main Tala car park close by to the house. Paphos city is a fifteen minute drive from Tala, as is Coral Bay, with its beautiful sandy beaches and numerous restaurants and bars.If you love walking in nature, Tala Diamanti is the perfect base for you. You can take a stroll around the narrow paved lanes of Tala itself and discover the many old churches, as well as shops where artists and craftsmen pedal their wares.For those who enjoy a longer walk, there are numerous hikes and scenic trails setting off from Tala, which if you choose, can then bring you back to the village where you can enjoy a coffee, a beer or a local wine in your favourite taverna.

The stunning Tala Monastery is an approximately twenty minute walk from the house (depending on your pace) and is a must for those interested in the history and culture of this beautiful island. There is also a café by the monastery where you can enjoy refreshments before the downhill walk back to your holiday home.
Tala Diamanti is an amazing and beautiful base for those who want a holiday in Cyprus with a difference. It offers tranquillity, peace and quiet and yet has the benefit of being in close proximity to life on the village square, as well as being only a short drive from everything that Paphos and the surrounding areas have to offer.

If you wish to make a booking, please contact us by one of the following methods:

- By telephone, WhatsApp call, WhatsApp message on 00447946331225When we have accepted a provisional booking, we will email you a booking form, which you need to complete, sign and return to us within the next seven days, along with a Bank Transfer for 25% of the total cost of the booking. This is a non-refundable deposit in the
event that you cancel your booking. The balance must be paid in full no later than twelve weeks before your date of arrival. If you will be staying at Tala Diamanti within twelve weeks of making a booking, the full payment must be made. Once we receive the deposit or full payment, your booking will be considered confirmed. This will be confirmed to you in writing.As a reminder, we will contact you seven days before the balance is due. If we do not receive the balance payment when it is due, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.SECURITY DEPOSITA £250.00 deposit is required and should be paid before arrival at the villa. This is to cover any damages, breakages or additional cleaning which may be required during your stay. We will provide receipts in the unlikely event that repairs or replacements are required.If the door keys are lost, this will incur £100.00 charge which will be taken from your security deposit. Electricity is very expensive in Cyprus. Furthermore, excessive and unnecessary use is not good for the planet.DAY OF DEPARTUREWe would ask that when leaving the villa on the day of your departure, all doors and windows are locked, air conditioning units and appliances are turned off. We would also request that you empty bins into the communal wheelie bins which are situated in the car
park close to the villa. We would ask that the door key is returned to the key holder and the code numbers are rejumbled.CONDUCTTala Diamanti is located in a quiet conservation area of Tala village with local families and residents living in close proximity. We ask that you please respect our neighbours and do not make excessive noise or engage in nuisance behaviour. We politely request that you do not play loud music after 23.00. We also note that guests are not permitted to use or to bring into the villa any drugs, hazardous materials or flammable liquids deemed dangerous to person or property.Tala Diamanti has a maximum occupancy of six people. Use of the villa is reserved only for the people who have been named on the booking form. No other persons are permitted to use the villa and its amenities or to stay in the accommodation unless our prior written
permission and agreement have been ascertained.If in our opinion or the opinion of our local representative, any person occupying Tala
Diamanti is felt to be behaving in such a way to cause danger, distress or damage to the property, then we may terminate your holiday arrangements. In the event of such, we will not be responsible for any expenses you incur. We will not make any refund or make compensation.INSECTS AND PESTSGiven the Cypriot climate, insects and other pests are an inevitability on the island. However, whilst we ensure that the villa receives regular pest control treatment, we cannot fully guarantee the total absence of insects and other pests.LOST AND STOLENWe recommend that prior to arrival at the villa, guests ensure that they have adequate travel insurance to cover any lost or stolen items. We do not accept any liability for lost or stolen property of our guests whilst they are staying in Tala Diamanti.INTERNET SERVICESWe provide a Wi-Fi connection free of charge. However, it should be noted that we have no responsibility for, or control over, internet services access or the internet speed. Neither can we guarantee that any services are error or virus free.VILLA RULESShortly following arriving at Tala Diamanti we recommend that you read our villa rules. These are clearly displayed in the kitchen and dining area.MAINTENANCE OF AMENITIES AND REPORTING ANY PROBLEMS OR MALFUNCTIONS YOU
MAY ENCOUNTERIt should be noted that maintenance amenities are not guaranteed. In the rare event of a complaint regarding Tala Diamanti arises, or if amenities malfunction, then please contact our representative immediately. You will be provided with the representative’s telephone number as soon as you arrive at Tala Diamanti. We do of course make every effort to ensure that the property and amenities are in good working order. We will also make every effort to address and repair any problems as soon as our representative has been notified. Whenever
possible, repairs are carried out within forty eight hours of notification. However at times, delay can be inevitable. We are unable to provide compensation for unforeseen mechanical failures, for example with electricity, water, gas, TV satellite services, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, appliances and pool filtration.We believe that the description provided of the villa and its contents is accurate. However, in the event that over time there are any significant changes in facilities or in the content of the villa, we will do our best to ensure that you are informed of this prior to your arrival at Tala
Diamanti.WELCOME PACKSA welcome pack can be requested for you arrival at Tala Diamanti. This will incur an additional charge of £50.00. The pack contains items including a large water bottle for water tower, bread, butter, milk, cheese, tea and coffee, as well as other additional local products.
If you require a full list of the contents of the welcome pack, please contact us. If there are specific items you require to be in the Villa at the time of your arrival, then we will do our best to accommodate to this, although additional items will incur a further charge.FLIGHTSWe do not provide flights. You are subsequently responsible for making your own air travel
arrangements. We would ask that you confirm your flight details with us as soon as these have been made. If you require a taxi transfer from the airport to Tala Diamanti, this can be arranged. We would request that you pay the taxi driver directly for this service.CANCELLATION OF YOUR HOLIDAYWe reserve the right to cancel your holiday if any of the following rare circumstances: Threat of war, war, terrorist activity, civil strikes, riots, nature or nuclear disasters, industrial disputes, airport closure, fire, bad weather conditions and mechanical breakdown or similar event beyond our control.Cyprus continues to be a developing island and subsequently, construction work in certain
areas is a possibility. If we discover or are informed that building work will be taking place in the immediate vicinity of Tala Diamanti, and if we believe that this will spoil your enjoyment of the Villa, we will do our best to inform you before you travel. However, we will not pay
any compensation if you decide to cancel. Our decision regarding whether any construction work taking place will or will not cause any disruption is final.It should also be noted that we cannot be held responsible for any traffic or other noise on
the lane where Tala Diamanti is situated, or in the surrounding public roads as clearly this is
entirely beyond our control.INSURANCEThe cost of renting Tala Diamanti does not include any insurance. We do not accept any responsibility in the event of death, bodily injury or illness of any person taking our villa rentals. Subsequently, we strongly recommend that you and all your party take out fully
comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. You may be able to make a claim against your personal travel insurance if your reason for cancelling is covered by the policy you have taken. If you are prevented from travelling, you may transfer your booking to someone else. This should be discussed and agreed with us prior to the date of arrival at Tala Diamanti.
